ABOUT THE SEASON

Opera de Metro is proud to announce our third season, with two wonderful shows and more events bringing opera to your neighborhood. The heart of our season offers Mozart’s well-known comic opera Don Giovanni, in a contemplation on desire, power, and retribution. Additionally, we look forward a holiday presentation of Handel's Messiah, and an alumni singer feature with a casual evening celebrating our third season. This season also includes the second year of our vocal competition, Concours de Voix, giving emerging singers an opportunity to showcase their skills for a local panel of judges. We can’t wait for another year of making music in Metro Detroit, and we look forward to seeing you in the audience soon!
